I was born in Hamburg but had not been here in a few years. In 2009 I visited again for a few days. I had recently switched from Nikon to Pentax and was familiarizing myself with the new camera and lenses. The weather was bad, so I shot at night. The HafenCity district was still heavily under construction but I could see it was going to be beautiful one day.

The idea to maybe some day move to the HafenCity formed in my head.

And in 2014, I turned that idea into reality.

I have since moved to a different part of Hamburg, but I am stil living in that city.
