What are you looking at?

I was visiting a Zoo on Fuerteventura and kept wondering where the Cheetah was hiding. Of course, the animal had spotted me a long time ago and way staring at me from the underbrush.

My hope was that as long as I wouldn’t appear to be attacking or trying to run way, he would hold still and keep me in focus. So I slowly raised my camera, zoomed in, composed the picture and took several photos.

Some post-processing was involved to make the animal stand out against the foliage and backdrop - they are really good ad stealthily hiding after all.
